WILKES-BARRE -- About a dozen adults and teen carrying signs with anti-bullying slogans demonstrated peacefully outside the Wilkes-Barre Area seminary District administration building.
WILKES-BARRE -- About a dozen adults and teen carrying signs with anti-bullying slogans demonstrated peacefully outside the Wilkes-Barre Area seminary District administration building, waving to passers-by and on a level talking with a few motorists who stopped along toward the south Main Street.
Inside the building, place of education board members sat forward and appeared to listen intently as individual father described his dissatisfaction with the district's efforts to retaining-wall bullying.
"I'm true concerned that the policy in place is not being enforced," Todd Casey said. "I've had to take matters into my admit hands and call law enforcement."
Casey said GAR High seminary officials and the district's security officer Brian Lavan have been helpful and responsive, still the problem continues. "The kids are being suspended on the other hand they're coming back and (the bullying) continues," he said.
