KINGSTON – Municipal officials onward Tuesday will review Wyoming Seminary's plans for an artificial sward field for its lacrosse and field hockey teams.
The recently made known field, which would be named after longtime field hockey coach Karen Klassner, would be located forward property Seminary owns in the area of West Hoyt road and Maple and Chestnut avenues.
The academy has abandoned a proposal to build a 28-vehicle parking destiny in the area because a certain number of residents objected to it at last month's planning commission meeting, said Wyoming Seminary President Jere Packard.
The planning commission will review plans for the modern field at 10 a.m. Tuesday, said Tony Reino, municipal building and zoning inspector. The place of education needs a special exception for the strange field because it would be in a residential neighborhood, Reino said.
