According to borough solicitor Cynthia Ray, the Department of Environmental Protection meeting will be an essential degree before any moves can be made to change the instant sewer plan. She suggested the borough representatives arrange the meeting with DEP and then invite representatives from the sewer authority to join them.
"Changing an existing Act 537 is a drawn out process, and this meeting is essentially selling them onward the need for changing it," she said. If they agree changes are exigencyed then the next step would be re-engineering those changes, she said.
