DALLAS TWP – Kristi Deven tossed a one-hitter and faced just 15 batters to pick up the win in the first game of a doubleheader as society Misericordia swept Alvernia – 8-0 and 5-2 – forward Friday in Pennsylvania Athletic colloquy softball action.

Lindsay Miller and Laura Mushinski had couple hits and Jess Klimas added a triple in the first game for the Lady Cougars.

In the other game, Miller had four hits and Kirsten Lazorka added a pair of hits to make Laura Mushinski the winning pitcher.
