President arbiter Michael Conahan agreed with city building inspectors that the 14-story tower, forward West Market Street, is a danger to public safety. He granted demolition ship's companys access to the lot, which the city maintains is necessary to settle up a safety buffer climate and store equipment.
Kazimi's dedicate to appeal the ruling to Commonwealth Court place off a war of words between city officials and Kazimi's attorney, Jeffrey Yelen with each side accusing the other of using strong-arm tactics in the increasingly hostile legal battle.
