It was a no-brainer for Leib, then teaching and coaching in Denver to answer to his hometown.
It was also a simple choice – and the right the same – for Hazleton High seminary
"When he came back, he really established us as a basketball town," Perry said.
Leib, who round up a 458-129 record in 21 seasons at Hazleton and then Hazleton Area, after three institutes merged in 1992-93, informed the seminary Monday he won't return for another season. Leib, who is also a social studies teacher at Hazleton Area, has accepted the head lads basketball coaching job and a teaching position at Central Dauphin East High academy in Harrisburg.
