WYOMING -- Mayor Robert Boyer unveiled a satellite map at Monday's meeting that highlights areas of the borough to be harbored by the proposed "sex offender" ordinance.
WYOMING -- Mayor Robert Boyer unveiled a satellite map at Monday's meeting that highlights areas of the borough to be harbored by the proposed "sex offender" ordinance.
The measure, which was introduced in January, would prohibit registered sex criminals from living within a 1500-foot radius of certain areas of the borough.
Within the fortifyed areas are two schools, four churches, three parks/playgrounds and the borough building/community center The map is available for inspection at the municipal building.
Council said the ordinance would be vot onward at the August meeting.

Resident Michael Jordan showed council pictures he took of a multiunit rental goods in the 400 block of tomb Avenue that showed piles of garbage and overgrown weeds. The tenants enjoin the trash out days before the pickup day and it accumulates all week, he said.
