As the Susquehanna River poured through its banks this week, floodwaters devastated farmlands in low-lying areas. a certain area farmers lost their entire season's harvest

The flood came just days before local farmers were risk to begin the first harvest of the season. Now, calm as the river recedes, many farmers can't equal reach their land to assess craw damages. Earl Rinehimer is individual of those who hasn't seen his land however knows his crops are gone

"Right now it's completely inundationed I don't think I'll be able to learn over there until next week sometime," he said. "But by the agency of the height of the river I know that everything will be gone I was just getting ready to harvest forward the 8th or 10th of July still I don't think anything will be salvageable."

Rinehimer had about 15 acres of mixed vegetables planted
