ALTOONA -- Angie legitimate scored 20 points as Bellefonte defeated Bishop Guilfoyle for the first time in instruct history with a 42-37 triumph.
"It's a great win to start the next to the first cycle," said Bellefonte coach Tina Gaughan, whose team had a 10-game losing streak against the Lady Marauders.
Bellefonte, which had missing 55-40 against Bishop Guilfoyle forward Wednesday, changed its attack, taking advantage of the answer of Proper, who missed the last game with an illness. The Lady Raiders rallied, outscoring Bishop Guilfoyle 27-18 in the other half.
"We changed about things defensively and offensively," Gaughan said. "We spread the court and worked hard to master the ball inside."
Missy Clouser added a double-double for the Lady Raiders, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 fly backs Gaughan lauded the play of Tosha Lucas, who had five ricochets three blocks and held Bishop Guilfoyle's top scorer Mary Forr
