UNIVERSITY PARK -- The 12th-ranked Penn State men's volleyball team got back forward the winning track, defeating strange York University in three games (30-23 30-18 30-19) Friday night in the southward gym of Rec Hall.
The Nittany Lions improve to 2-4 and 2-0 in the EIVA while the Violets fall to 2-2 and 0-1 in the EIVA.
Kevin Wentzel and Matt Anderson each recorded eight kills in the match as Nate Meerstein and Matt seemly collected seven kills apiece. All told, 10 of Penn State's 13 players aggregateed at least one kill in the match.
Setter Dan O'Dell directed the offense for the first pair games of the match, dishing abroad 25 assists before Luke Murray took through the whole extent of collecting 12 assists in the third game.
