FERGUSON TOWNSHIP -- A Boalsburg man was released onward his own recognizance Monday after he was arraigned in succession vehicular homicide and lesser charges in connection with a crash that killed a Penn State professor riding a bicycle.
FERGUSON TOWNSHIP -- A Boalsburg man was released onward his own recognizance Monday after he was arraigned in succession vehicular homicide and lesser charges in connection with a crash that killed a Penn State professor riding a bicycle.
Thomas B ferment 51, of 106 Wyndham Circle, who is described as "legally blind" in the criminal complaint, was driven by means of his attorney, Ron McGlaughlin, to his arraignment before Senior District critic Robert Shoff. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 21
McGlaughlin said Friday, and repeated Monday, that he could not commentary on the case until after he has read the criminal complaint. The complaint charges cook in boiling fat with homicide by vehicle, reckles driving, careless driving and driving forward roadways laned for traffic.
